About VolleyPad

VolleyPad™ is a digital scouting notepad for volleyball coaches - the “Pad” is a notepad, not an iPad, and it replaced the drawer of paper scouting sheets coaches used to keep on opponents. Coaches chart opponent rotations, attack tendencies, and serve-receive patterns before a match - then keep working those diagrams live from the bench as the match unfolds.

Paper sheets get lost, get smudged, and retire after one match. VolleyPad keeps your scouting organized by organization, team, and opponent, so a season's worth of intel is in one place and ready the next time you face them.

Pre-match work is charted in one color; live in-match updates layer on top in a second, so new intel never buries the historical record. When the plan is set, export a print-ready PDF for your players.

VolleyPad is built for the bench. The iPad app charts fully offline in gyms with no signal, and the full web editor at volleypad.com runs in any modern browser - chart, edit, and build reports from a laptop with no iPad required.

VolleyPad is made by VolleyPad LLC, a service-disabled veteran-owned company in New York. It started as a drawer of paper scouting sheets and a proof of concept shared with club coaches in spring 2026, and was developed and beta-tested with club and college coaches. It exists because the coach who built it wanted a better way to scout from the bench.
